Privacy Policy

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address (via Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In), or phone number (via phone verification). You may optionally add a profile photo. If you choose to hide your email during Apple Sign-In, Apple provides us with a private relay address (ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com); messages we send to that address are forwarded by Apple to your real email.

Listing content: When you create a listing, we collect the text, images, and location (address or coordinates) you provide. This content is visible to other signed-in users.

Search location:We store the area you choose to browse (e.g., "Charlotte" or "NoDa"). This is a location you manually pick in the app — we do not continuously track your GPS position.

Usage data: We collect basic usage information such as which tab you last viewed and when you last opened the app. This helps us improve the product and is not shared with third parties.

Device information: Firebase automatically collects device type, operating system version, and crash reports to help us fix bugs and improve stability.

• Display your listings and profile to other users
• Show you relevant nearby listings based on your chosen search area
• Process likes, reports, and content moderation
• Send you notifications about your listings (when enabled)
• Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the app
• Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and policy violations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Other users: Your listings, name, and profile photo are visible to other signed-in users. Your phone number and email are not displayed to other users.

Service providers:We use Firebase (Google Cloud) for authentication, data storage, image hosting, and analytics. Firebase processes your data under Google's privacy terms.

Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.

• Access: You can view all your data in the app (profile, listings, likes).
• Correction: You can edit your profile information, and edit or delete individual listings, at any time from within the App. Deleted listings — along with their likes and associated images — are permanently removed.
• Deletion: You can delete your account from the Profile screen. This permanently removes your account, all listings, likes, images, and associated data. This action is irreversible.
• Data portability: Contact us to request an export of your data.

• Search area (stored): The neighborhood or city you pick in the location selector is saved to your account so it persists across sessions and devices. This is a user-chosen preference, not live GPS tracking.
• Current location (optional, not stored):If you tap "Use Current Location," we use your device's GPS once to determine your area. We do not store raw GPS coordinates on our servers or track your location in the background.
